CD REVIEW: Kellie Lynne – “Kellie Lynne”
By Stacey Board - 07/18/2004 - 06:55 PM EDT

Artist: Kellie Lynne
Album: “Kellie Lynne”
CD Review: This is a three-song demo that I believe is meant to highlight Kellie’s singing. I was not able on the CD given me or from her website to determine who wrote the material so I presume they are not expecting comment on the songwriting. The songs are country in the new more pop style a la Shania and Faith.

Her bio is full of her singing since a small child and stops around the end of high school. Lynne has a strong and mature voice for what I am assuming is her age. If the purpose of the demo is to prove to people she has a fine voice, it definitely succeeds.

Lynne definitely has talent and potential and already has some good songs and fine production with this demo. She will be a name to watch in the future as she grows as an artist and continues to develop material beyond this demo.
