CD REVIEW: AlphaVox - AlphaVox
By Ben Ohmart - 05/21/2007 - 10:34 AM EDT

Artist: AlphaVox
Genre: Dark Pop Electronica
CD Review:
You'll hear some Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, and a little U2 soul in this duo from Venezuela/Miami. It is dark pop with a twinge of electronic beat thrown into the fire. 'Method of Madness' proves you can dance to it. 'Blood of Heroes' proves they are very note worthy composers, who nearly got themselves a Martian Records contract via a band contest. Easy to see why with their 'sci-fi inspired lyrics' and the bass/otherworld experience they project. This here is just a 9 track cdr, but produced like a 'real' cd, so I hope there's a buyable one out there somewhere. People will purchase.
