CD Review: This musical project started back in 2008 with Aaron Eyes alone recording in his solo home studio. Steve Eyes joined one year later. One lives in Nashville, Michigan; the other in Nashville, Tennessee but distance has never been a problem for them as they were creating music with the help of internet that is the pklace where they work and create music together. The experimental band started also to write music and play in small venues building a fan base. This is their first official album ďA place without timeĒ.

The composition of the songs is complex and never banal, and the album is well produced.  Thereís a feeling of power to Eyes of 99ís music that makes this cd an album best listened to with your earphones and all your attention. Still, many of the songs feature catchy music pieces, and keep your attention high. It also has got a feel good vibe to it. And while by the end of the album the tracks arenít too easily differentiated, and the album sounds somewhat unique and homogeneous, thereís no denying that itís a very fine formula of creating music.

The cover immediately tell us that this record is all about atmosphere, and that is true, you fell like entering a world when you listen to this album. Even if epic and traditional rock are adjectives that sound appropriate here their album can be also called modern, they have their own style well recognizable that comes from great vocal blends and powerful melodic rock compositions. It is well worth listening to.
