CD Review:
From Byron Zanos, a singer/songwriter/musician who just released his latest LP, Still In A Fight, comes a clever tale about a last goodbye…if only for a while. With Byron’s crooning falsetto, accompaniment by a melancholic guitar, and a crying cello, this track has all of the dramatic elements to command your attention – and stir up your emotions. Similar in temperament to Bryan Adam’s hit, Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman, it’s the kind of song that a smart music supervisor will use in a romantic movie where the main characters fall in love, encounter conflict, and are subjected to the formulaic break-up that leads to the audience cheering for them to get back together. It has both licensing and radio potential.
