CD Review:

Rapper C. Reid comes through with what could be the first Summer time hit of 2009. His track, "Superstar" from his full length LP, Hold Me Down, is a smooth, refreshing blend of R&B and Hip-Hop which combines the finer elements of both. The flavorful, but sporadic, romantic verses are executed with perfection by C. Reid, but it’s the sing-a-long hook (one of the best on the project) that lingers and captivates on this radio friendly track which should be serviced immediately to R&B and Hip-Hop stations.
