Music Reviews - by James Grimes
James Grimes The endless subjectivity of music has the duality of separation, as well as the ability to bring people together. I, like a lot of listeners, have my favorites and dislikes but I feel, as an active listener and a songwriter myself, I do have a unique perspective. One that comes from a competitive independent industry angle, but also one that can recognize the commercial value of music, and maybe the most important ingredient from an artist's point of view, value and longevity.

Quality music will always endure the ups and downs of the common denominator of the day. Honest expression and the need to, "have to make music" will always be the righteous path no matter what is considered the genre of the day. I hope to touch upon these issues when reviewing your music.
