CD Review: Jarrod Tyler, a singer/songwriter/musician from Canada, sent me his debut EP which contains a collection of melodic, beautifully crafted, and well-performed songs that highlight his vocal and lyrical capabilities. His best and most commercial song, “Never Wanted To” is one of those songs that will work its way into your subconscious and have you singing it without thinking or trying. It’s a sure-fire radio hit that would gather steam with each play.

His narrative skills are also put on display in “Juliet,” a love story that will have you singing along before it ends after only hearing it halfway through, and the equally as engaging, "Baby Jane." Jarrod's songwriting talent is undeniable and timeless and he has the polish of a seasoned songwriter who is truly dedicated to, and inspired, by stories that appeal to our interests and emotions.
