CD Review:
Somehow while traveling around the country as the official opening act for Disney’s Corbin Bleu, Justin Stein, a singer/songwriter/actor found time to make a CD that is sure to delight his legion of female fans.
His opening track, “Leave It On The Floor” is an energetic dance number that’s fueled by electronic beats and R&B rhythms. This fun, up-tempo track has radio appeal and a hint of bravado that announce Justin’s arrival as a legitimate commercial threat.
Other tracks that enrich this project are “Loose Control" which is the perfect complement to Leave It On The Floor, “Turn It On,” a Pop/Rock, Backstreet Boyish tune, and the Disney flavored, "Don't Be Playin With My Heart.” While these songs add depth to a well-conceived and well-rounded project, the distinction of the best and most commercial track belongs to “Sweetest Girl,” a poignant and infectious ballad that lingers in your memory long after you hear it, and “Gimme A Chance,” a bonafide radio and dance floor hit. Both contain his most genuine vocal perfomances.
With a project that skillfully showcases the nuances of his talent and personality, Justin’s music career is ready for launching.
