CD REVIEW: Jerry Mundo - Hard Money
By Ben Ohmart - 05/21/2007 - 10:34 AM EDT

Artist: Jerry Mundo
Website: http://www.mccmusic.com/
Genre: Pop/Rock
CD Review:
Jerry is gonna rock it, with the help of a big pop band. Trumpet, tenor and baritone sax, a few beat people, with JM on vocals and guitar. 'Things Still Rock' but they rock slowly. What it is does is build up to some fine horn harmonies. 'Hard Money' is where it starts getting fast. This seems to be the radio favorite, since the last of the 11 songs is also a radio cut of this song. This is the kind of band/cd your uncle who fixes cars will like. Yes, if you know any happy truck drivers, give them this. It will get them over the state line quicker, and will keep them out of the right lane. It's for the folks who appreciate the pre-80s bent of stylish blithe band shtick.
