In the vein of Rob Thomas and Matchbox Twenty, Salient delivers a subtle, but electrifying mid-tempo track that instantly intrigues, builds, and engulfs you with spot on vocals, a melodic bass line, and a hook that you look forward to hearing. The single from the current LP, Dawn Follows Dark, is well-arranged and features lush backing vocals, and precise guitar playing which make this a single that you can’t deny, or stop listening to.
