CD Review:
Taken from the debut LP of the same title, "Foolin Me," is a snazzy, up-tempo, radio-ready track that is more than just a song with a catchy beat; it's an anthem for all the frustrated and rebellious young ladies who are fed up with the games that men play.
Singing the anthem is thirteen year old Samantha Molin (at the time of this recording), a diva-in-training who started singing at the age of 5 - and it shows. Her phrasing and ability to navigate through the emotional landscape of a song is impressive for her age. Despite her nasally vocal tendencies (which can be corrected with training and practice), she turns in a competent and heart-felt vocal performance that shines through.
