CD Review:
Huh! Get on up! Huh! Get on up now!

Ooops! Sorry. '(You're Stuck With A) Rock and Roll Daddy' is the 1st of 13 songs. Very nice horn work must be overdubbed. There's only 1 trombone and 1 trumpet listed, and I hear a whole section back there. I dig the arrangement more than the topic of this song, and for some reason the lead vocal sticks out a bit much because possibly the guy's too white? No, that's wrong of me to say. But let's say that a Joe Cocker throat would sound real good in front of a big band or more old fashioned jazz group. The vocals are clear, and oh well, forget it. Doesn't matter. 'Cold Harbor' works better because it's got a bit of the dixie behind it, and I dig the chorus chorus a nice little story song.

Cd is put together nicely, and mixed clean and clear. I bet they'd be a better live act where they can get a little wilder, a little more scruffed up, and show off their fleas.
