CD REVIEW: Ché Zuro - Welcome Home
By Ben Ohmart - 05/21/2007 - 10:34 AM EDT

Artist: Ché Zuro
Website: http://www.checheche.com/
Genre: Pop
CD Review:
I thoroughly dig 'Mr. Chows Garden', with its Polytheme Pam chords and ditto Beatles-like ending. 'Thank You For Loving Me' is likewise worthy of applause, perhaps more so. It's the 1st ballad you'll encounter, with a simple acoustic behind it, and smooth female vocals pouring like fine waterfalls on a 2nd honeymoon. 13 songs and over 50 minutes of very good indie production, heavy on the bass, but not too much. Very positive and enjoyable!
