Innovative new Cinematic Progressive Metal band DemiAura recently did a digital release of their very first full-length instrumental/soundtrack album on October 13th, 2015, and is now available on their website at:

The album also features a dynamic show of multi-instrumentalism amongst the group, prominent in drummer Keith Heaney's Octapad piece "Astral World," lead guitarist Bobby Chavez performing all bass parts in the recordings, and keyboardist Jonathan Gabriel Jr. writing and performing all instruments in "Wind Of Deliverance."

The band has debuted their first show with ProgMetal icons Fates Warning on October 29th, 2015 at Club Red Theatres in Mesa, AZ. Together with local Progressive Rock/Metal pioneers Materium

and Phoenix & Dragon, as well as Oklahoma's Vangough, as they represent the rapidly growing Arizona Progressive Metal scene.

The event was presented by 13th Floor Entertainment ( and hosted by Heavy Metal Television.

About DemiAura:

Based out of Phoenix, Arizona, DemiAuraís fusion of many different stylistic directions and the bandís wild, unbound method of execution results in a dynamic sound that is often referred to as Progressive Metal Soundscapes by band members.
DemiAuraís music is fearlessly textured with influences from an endless bevy of styles. From progressive metal to jazz fusion and even film soundtracks, nothing is off the table when it comes to where DemiAura draws its inspiration.
DemiAura is appropriately comprised of a team of veteran musicians from wildly different backgrounds, and the band is currently seeking to round out its lineup (details below). Current members are:

Bobby Chavez (Lead Guitar)
Keith Heaney (Acoustic/Electric Percussionist)
Jonathan Gabriel Jr. (Keyboards and programming)

Bobby Chavez hails from a large family of musicians, and began his musical journey at a young age. Starting originally on the guitar, he eventually became skilled bassist and vocalist as well. Bobbyís seen a storied career as a professional musician thatís included several worldwide albums and even a major record deal or two, and eventually lead him to crossing paths with drummer Keith Heaney - both of them as members of the band Born of Fire. Through a decade of Born of Fireís failures, successes, rebuilding, and second rise, Bobby was eventually approached by Keith to help spearhead his side project by taking over the lead guitarist role. That project would eventually become known as DemiAura.
Keith Heaney has been plying his craft as a percussionist for over three decades. In addition to playing professionally across a myriad of bands and creative projects, he also gives back by teaching his craft to any willing students. Keithís endless desire to constantly develop new techniques and experiment with styles eventually gave way to Organism - a high concept rock/metal-fusion project not limited to any one musical genre or style in its influence and execution. Organism would eventually go on to become DemiAura, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Jonathan Gabriel Jr.ís career has seen him sharing the stage with heavy metal giants such as Queensryche, Quiet Riot, Symphony X, Y&T, Fates Warning, and many others through his work as the keyboardist of Phoenix & Dragon. Hailing from Manila, Philippines, Jonathanís history as a professional musician has chiseled him into a highly skilled keyboardist, guitarist, and drummer. Jonathan and Keith crossed paths at a gig in Arizona, and besides becoming fast friends they also noted an undeniable creative chemistry that was further cemented when they finally had an opportunity to jam together in January of 2013. Together with Bobby, the three are now the explosive core of DemiAura.
